Two Raving Lunatics Discuss Current Affairs - Alex Jones and Larry Pratt

Larry Pratt is all over the place,  Obamacare, taxes, Republican infighting, Al Queda, Syria. And, in the greatest hypocrisy of all time, Pratt says "80% of our fellow Americans think it's nuts to go into Syria." But, when a similar percentage wanted universal background checks it meant nothing, remember?

Consistent with the theme of the Alex Jones Show, Larry Pratt posits that Obama's motive for going into all these wars is" to diminish the United States' ability to operate on the world scene, to pull us down many pegs."

I have another theory, which I learned from George Carlin. The Military Industrial Complex is pulling Obama's strings as if he were their puppet.

What do you think?  Please leave a comment.

  1. They sound not quite as crazy as Rachel Maddow and much less snotty than the Morning Joe crew.

    1. I don't see it that way and I suspect you don't either. You're just trying to be loyal to your cause and since you have so little regard for the truth, you say any stupid thing you like.

Alex Jones is not as crazy as Rachel Maddow, is that you honest assessment?

    2. I'd be willing to substitute shrill, elitist, indignant, petty, whiny, or similar words for Maddow.

    3. Greg, I think in spite of all your protestations to the contrary, you're quite the homophobe and misogynist.

But you didn't answer the question. Are you sticking with your statement, "They sound not quite as crazy as Rachel Maddow?" Or, are you willing to admit that Alex Jones is far and away the crazier of the two?

    4. I did answer the question. As to your assertion about me, once again, I invite you to provide evidence.

While I'm sure that politicians pay attention to public polls that come out in the media, one thing that means more than that is direct feedback from constituents. So if the polls claim 80% of Americans don't approve of bombing Syria and they look at their feedback from constituents and it matches the polls, then they have some confidence the numbers are accurate.
Since the last round of attempts at gun legislation didn't go anywhere, then I'm guessing what they heard from back home didn't match the polls. Confirmation will come at the next election.
