  2. They are sure planning ahead since she isnt up for reelection till 2016. Mike, you and others seem to fault the big, bad NRA for somehow fogging the minds of politicians, making them ignore the the 80 to 90 percent of the electorate wanting more gun laws.
    So now Mr. Bloomberg is attempting to one-up the NRA by starting the campaign ads three years out. In the meantime at a grassroots level, politicians' careers are being threatened by them being recalled by citizens in numbers that would seem to belie the 80 to 90% figure being used.
    As for the police chief in the video above, he is from Minnesota. Somehow the "80 to 90%" didnt prevail in his home state either. And Minnesota has a reputation for being pretty liberal.

    1. Three years of pro gun control bashing sounds to me like a great way to make people sick of Bloomberg and build up backlash.

    2. Bloomberg suffers the delusion that all smiling tyrants suffer, namely the belief that all people love him. Otherwise, why would he spend his money to buy ads in anywhere but the City of New York?
