The NRA's Enemies List

  1. This crosses the line? Advocacy groups of all types have lists of people and organizations who do things that the groups believe to be wrong. The Southern Poverty Law Center lists hate groups. The Brady Bunch lists states. And the NRA lists people who are opponents of gun rights.

But here's a question to this wanna-be grunge band member: Is there any action of the NRA that you can imagine supporting? So far as I can tell, that guy would oppose whatever the NRA does.

  2. It is not in any way an absurd or dangerous notion to have an "enemies list". Every Government keeps some form of public of secret list of individuals or other entities who have earned the ruler's ire. However, any group which advocates arming the ordinary citizen, with no ties to the military or any police or security agency, and with little concern or need for the safety of the greater society, with lethal weapons of any form ought to be on such a enemies, namely a terrorist list.

  3. The NRA's enemies list seems mild compared to Obama's kill list and his own personal death squads he uses to carry out those murders.

I love it when gun control freaks come out of the closet and show off their moral perversion.

    1. Hey, we have comment moderation, ostensibly to try to keep away trolls, but BIGBUBBA USA still gets through!

    2. You make the implication that I am somehow a troll. By what metric do you base this statement? What has lead you to believe that I am somehow a troll, or do you simply trow out such accusations in a frivolous display of unsolicited and inane ad hominems. It is you, anonymous who is the troll, who simply mislabels your opponents as such.

But, I digress. Do you have a legitimate response to my point, being that dem dang hollywood liberals be commin down where they don't best belong, and be all up in our business? We ain't be takin kindly to dem types around here with all dem laws telln us what we can and cannot do! how bout dis for a change: NO MORE LAWS!!!!

    3. If that were the reason I have the comment moderation on, your comment would have been blocked too. That makes you a hypocrite for doing the very thing you're complaining about. In fact, that makes you worse than Bubba. At least his comments are on topic.

    4. I have to wonder what BigBubba's point is. The first paragraph above shows that he can make intelligent remarks, but then the second sinks back into his usual illiterate style.

    5. I'll freely admit my anonymous post above was trolling, though it had a point. Bubba's response showed that he can speak standard English, quite floridly even. However, he is putting on an obviously fake persona, pretending to be an uneducated conservative redneck--this doesn't exactly promote discussion and was why he and others were complained about before moderation began.

As for something on topic: This is much ado about nothing. So they had a list of people and businesses that had opposed their positions on an issue? Is that so uncommon as to be newsworthy?
